How To Plan A Party: Interesting Tips On Servin Wine

21st December

Are you lookin for dinner party ideas?  I found an article that tells you the most fundamental tips about servin wine.  Bein an alcoholic, I can’t drink any more, but when I did drink I used to like wine the best.  However, until now I never bothered with the subtleties of how to maximize the pleasure.

If you are thinkin on how to plan a party, and you plan to serve wine in the gourmet tradition, this article tells the fundamentals that you want to follow.

The writer of the article is named Gourmet Gary.  He makes a distinction between folks who care about the subtleties of wine-drinkin, and those who do not.  Therefore, I beg of you, please do not feel that there is some pressure for you to learn about these subtleties.  For me, if I could drink wine, I wouldn’t care.  Possibly I would try out the tips, that Gourmet Gary wrote about in the article, just to see if I was able to tell the difference.

But if you are thinkin about how to plan a party, and you want to explore the finest and subtlest of flavors to be found in wine, and if you have not been educated about the subject before now, then I recommend the article to you.

One point, that I found to be particularly interestin, is the importance of timin when to open the bottle.  Gourmet Gary said that, for red wines, you get the best flavor if you uncork the bottle a full hour before you drink the wine.  Now, I found that to be extremely interestin, I had never heard of such a thin before!

Small After-Dinner Party Entertaining

20th December

Idea For A Small Quiet Party

Different types of parties require different types of plannin.  What if you want to have simple conversation amon 10 or fewer folks, your own family plus a few guests?  What if you don’t want to serve dinner?  Here I tell you a suggestion on how to plan a party, of just that type.

These ideas for parties could work for an after-dinner party, or for an afternoon party, either one.

Maybe there is not that much to talk about, because you have not known each other lon.  Maybe you have known each other so lon, that you have already talked about everythin under the Sun, and there is nothin left for you to talk about.

I speak jokinly, for some folks will always find somethin to talk about, and some will always find it hard, to think of somethin to say.  But here is a simple, commonly used party format, that encourages conversation.

For small numbers of serene guests, board games can be a platform to catalyze social interaction.  It is not necessarily the dinner party games themselves that are fun.  It is the interaction amon the folks playin the game that decides whether fun will be had.

I read an article recently, of a board game that has just recently become available in the United States of America.  It is a rather different kind of a game, for it is not about money, not about adventure, not about trivia, but it is about farmin!

To me, farmin is the ideal sport, and would make a truly good basis for a decent conversation, if you have the right people involved.  The game is called “Sodbusters”, and is the work of Randal Heide.  Here is the link about the game itself  www.sodbusters-game.com .

HOW TO PLAN A PARTY

28th November

I found an awesome article, tellin of a hot new insider thought, that will help you to think, about how to plan a party.  Suppose your party is not a dinner party; suppose that to offer food is right for your party.  The article suggests an interestin way to reckon how much food for you to supply to your guests.

Here it is:  in the first 2 hours, each guest will eat 5 hors d’oeuvres each hour.  Every hour after that, each guest will eat 3 hors d’oeuvre each hour.

So, you see, from that, that when you are thinkin on how to plan a party, you have to have a definite idea of how much time your party will last.

Suppose that you will be servin trays of fruit and vegetables.  Each guest will eat 2 bites of each item, every hour.  How to plan a party napkin consumption, give them 4 small cocktail-sized napkins for every hour for every guest.

The article, that I read, is called, ” How to Plan a Party That’s Enjoyed by All”, by Janice Faulk Duplantis, and you can find it at http://EzineArticles.com/?How-to-Plan-a-Party-Thats-Enjoyed-by-All&id=107917
